Scars are Tattooes
with inks so red and purple,
sinks into the penetrable skin
and so I bare a moon mark on
my hip and a clawed mark
on my arm that would last for ages and ages!
Scars will heal and mend, but it will never
disappear; it sticks with me before I forget
Bruises are Hennas,
seeped into my face or thigh
with splattered dies of purple and
blue. Slowly the colours fade away
until all is gone without a trace of ink.
It stays temporarily on my skin for weeks
because it doesn't last as long as tattooes
